THIS PLACE HAS STYLE 🤍
Sand & Silo Marketplace
One of my favorite things about growing Cheryl Zapata Art & Inspiration has been finding local shops that just feel right. And Sand & Silo Marketplace in Pasadena, Maryland, is one of those places. From the minute you walk in, you can tell — this place has STYLE. It's creative, beautifully curated, a little unexpected and filled with the kind of things that make you stop, pick something up and think, Okay, I need this.
But what really makes Sand & Silo special is the woman behind it — Lisa Righter.
The Energy Behind the Shop

I LOVE Lisa’s energy. She has vision, enthusiasm and — maybe my favorite quality — HUSTLE! As another small business owner, I recognize it immediately. That constant thinking, creating, rearranging, trying something new and figuring out what’s next.
Lisa has taken that energy and created more than a place to shop. Sand & Silo celebrates local makers, creativity and community, and you can feel that personality throughout the store. I have such an appreciation for women who dream something up and then work like crazy to make it happen. Lisa is definitely one of those women.
A New Home for Cheryl Zapata Art & Inspiration
That makes me especially happy to have some of my own artwork and products tucked among all the beautiful things you'll find at Sand & Silo. For me, choosing where my art is sold has never been only about finding another retail location. I love being in shops that have their own personality — places where you want to wander around, discover something you weren't looking for and support the people creating things in your own community. Sand & Silo is exactly that kind of place.
So if you're near Pasadena, Maryland, go explore. Say hello to Lisa. Take your time looking around. Support some local makers. And while you're there, see if you can spot a little Cheryl Zapata Art & Inspiration in the mix. 🤍
