When Norah first asked if she could sell her artwork, I thought it might be a passing desire. Instead, it blossomed into a beautiful journey—one that has inspired not only Norah but now her younger sister, Noelle, as well. Watching Norah bravely share her gifts has opened the door for Noelle to join in, and what a joy it is to see them both expressing themselves through art.
This is more than just painting—it’s about giving them the confidence to explore, to dream, and to know that their creativity matters. For Norah, that first step taught her how it feels to belong to a community that values and encourages her. Now, Noelle is stepping in, following her sister’s lead, but already shining in her own unique way.
We’re grateful to our friends at Eclectic and to our community for the encouragement and support you’ve shown. These early experiences will shape Norah and Noelle in ways that extend far beyond the canvas, and we couldn’t be prouder to see their art bringing joy to others.
Artist Bios - Norah and Noelle
Norah Marie At ten years old, Norah has been painting since the age of two alongside her artist grandmother, Cheryl Zapata—“Nini.” She finds inspiration outdoors, especially at Fenwick Island Beach. When she’s not painting, Norah loves spending time with family and friends. Her pieces often reflect her love for coastal life and add a touch of joy and imagination to any space.
Noelle Taylor At seven years old, Noelle has eagerly joined her sister in creating art. Known for saying, “I don’t do it on purpose, my hand takes me wherever it wants!” Noelle’s natural, intuitive style brings a fresh energy to her work. She loves experimenting with color and movement, creating playful and expressive pieces that reflect her adventurous spirit.
Together, Norah and Noelle remind us that creativity has no age limit. Their art is filled with wonder, spontaneity, and the freedom to see the world in a new way.
